SF Modellsport have introduced the next generation of Pro 10 body shell, the HMS Group C P-Type. The P-Type was especially developed for modern Pro 10’s with brushless motors. A flush and gently forward pulled driver’s cabin enables an ideal flow of air to the rear wing, while the long front end generates optimal downforce at the front axle. Small edges over the rear wheel arches connected to the large end plates of the rear wing give a very stable handling. Available in May, the shell is made from 1mm thick lexan and comes with a protective overspray film.

Hot Bodies, under the Moorespeed label, have released this new 908 bodyshell, which has been designed for 1/12th scale circuit racing. This totally new design was developed from the ground up to be the ideal bodyshell for a wide range of racers and tracks. The air rushing over the bodyshell starts at the ground-level splitter and is forced over the front wheels and around the closed cockpit by sculpted flow channels. Ridges over the front wheels disrupt the air just enough to break it loose over the wheel arches until it flows back down slightly over the middle section of the body. The closed cockpit area helps stabilize the air as it rushes over the midsection, which hugs the battery and electronics area of the car chassis as closely as possible. As the air meets the rear wheels, further ducting and vertical supports direct the air over the rear spoiler, where a huge amount of downforce is created. Molded from crystal clear polycarbonate, it features clear overspray film, a pre-cut vinyl window mask sheet, and a decal sheet with headlights and Hot Bodies logos. With the new 200mm pan car class gaining popularity with every passing month Protoform is introducing a new LeMans prototype body style, the Mulsanne LMP. This body incorporates the svelte look and the flowing lines of the many “factory works prototypes” that raced in the 24hr classic in the late 90’s. It features an add-on rear spoiler extension with a gurney flap as well as a high mounted wing. A pair of injection molded wing struts are included as well. The wing profile and wing strut lengths can be trimmed to optimize  handling for both carpet and paved track surfaces and it’s designed to fit all of the latest in 200mm pan car chassis. It also comes complete with wing and spoiler hardware, window masks, and protective film. The decal sheets feature two different headlamp styles.

By popular demand Protoform is now releasing the same body style that the legendary Masami used in winning the last-ever IFMAR Pro 10 Worlds, the “P905B”. For it’s “encore performance” the P905B mould has been configured in the hi-downforce mode to enhance handling on a variety of tracks and surfaces. It comes with protective coating and is produced in .030 Lexan.

Hot Bodies have released lots of new products for their European Championship winning Cyclone 12, starting with 3 new shells. These shells offer different tuning possibilities for the C12 and are available as an open cockpit shell, the Mark-I, as well as 2 closed cockpit versions called the Mark-II and III. Also available for further tuning your chassis are 2 new ranges of spring hardnesses, soft and hard, for both the front and rear of the car as well as new 4mm trailing offset front wheel axles, giving the car a different steering response compared to the 2mm trailing offset that comes with the kit. Finally for the C12, is a new shock shaft, front kingpins and wishbone pivot pins, that have been titanium nitrade coated for a smoother action that the standard steel parts.

We wrote about the new DB10R from BMI Racing in detail when it was first announced and now the company has been in touch to announce that they has started shipping their new 200mm 1/10th Scale Pan Chassis Kit. Designed for racing in the emerging “World GT” Class, they hope to have more information about this new class, and the major racing events that will be running World GT classes, shortly.
